　　I. 表示“堅持說；堅決認(rèn)為(多與別人的觀點不同)”，接that從句(從句的動作多為已發(fā)生之事)，從句使用陳述語氣。如：
　　She insisted that he was wrong.
　　她堅持認(rèn)為他錯了。
　　II. 表示“堅決主張；堅持要求”，接that從句(從句的動作為將要發(fā)生之事)，謂語多為 should型的虛擬語氣，即：主語+ should(可省略)+動詞原形。如：
　　He insisted that we (should) accept these gifts.
　　他一定要我們收下這些禮物。
　　Jane insisted that he be present.
　　簡堅持要他出席。
　　還可用于“insist on / upon + 名詞或代詞或動詞-ing形式”結(jié)構(gòu)中。如：
　　He insisted on / upon my going with him.
　　他堅持要我跟他一起去。(= He insisted that I [should] go with him.)
　　I insist on seeing it. 我一定要見到它。(= I insist that I see it.)
　　Ⅲ. if you insist 常用于口語中，表示勉強(qiáng)同意。如：
　　All right, I’ll do it, if you insist.
　　好吧，如果你一定要我干這事，我就去干。
