　　人際關(guān)系是考研英語作文常見話題，例如考研英語真題中曾考過“友誼的重要性”;“父母與子女間互相理解”;“父母與子女間的和諧關(guān)系”;鑒于考研英語作文同一話題反復(fù)命題的傾向，文都教育考研高端英語教研室的老師提供一篇論證相互理解重要性的語料，供2016考研的同學(xué)們參考學(xué)習(xí)。

　　Our world is one of unparalleled richness and diversity. The people around us belong to different cultures, languages and faiths; represent a multitude of traditions, customs and values; and possess unique goals, aspirations and dreams. In a society in which differences between us are often easier to spot than the similarities, achieving mutual understanding is not just a matter of importance, but of necessity.

　　我們的世界空前的豐富和多樣。我們周圍的人從屬于不同的文化、語言和信仰;代表眾多的傳統(tǒng)，習(xí)俗和價(jià)值觀;懷有獨(dú)特的目標(biāo)、抱負(fù)和夢(mèng)想。在一個(gè)分歧比相似更容易被察覺的社會(huì)中，要想尋求相互理解不僅僅是重要的，而且是必需的。

　　One of the reasons that mutual understanding is so vital is that it forms the basis of all friendships and relationships. Mutual understanding allows existing differences between two or more partied to be acknowledged, accepted and respected, so that common ground and a collective vision can be found. This is true regardless of whether the relationship is between individuals, businesses or even countries. In addition to enabling us to foster long-lasting friendships, mutual understanding can also help people to avoid conflict with others. We may not fully agree with other people’s opinions or beliefs. However, by understanding the reasons behind their words and actions, we can learn to “disagree without being disagreeable” so that quarrels are averted.

　　相互理解如此關(guān)鍵的原因之一是它是所有友誼和各種關(guān)系的基礎(chǔ)。相互理解使得雙方或多方之間已有的分歧被認(rèn)可，接受和尊重，因此共同的立場(chǎng)和觀點(diǎn)也得以形成。這一點(diǎn)不管是對(duì)個(gè)人之間、公司間還是國家間的關(guān)系都是適用的。相互理解除了能使我們建立長(zhǎng)久的友誼外，也能幫助人們避免與他人的沖突。我們可能不完全同意他人的觀點(diǎn)或信念。不過通過了解他們言論和行為背后的原因，我們可以學(xué)著“表達(dá)不同意見，但仍保持友善態(tài)度”，從而避免爭(zhēng)吵。

　　Therefore, for those who wish to build lasting relationships, prevent conflict with others, seeking and achieving mutual understanding with others is not only important, but essential.

　　因此對(duì)那些希望建立長(zhǎng)久關(guān)系，防止跟他人沖突的人來說，尋求并獲得與他人的相互理解不僅是重要的，而且是必要的。

　　以上論證材料考試時(shí)無論是考友誼，還是考兩代關(guān)系或人際關(guān)系都可以借鑒;甚至考文化交流也可以使用，但是要注意過渡合理，例如先說文化交流的主要目的就是加深相互理解，之后再展開論述相互理解的重要性，舉一反三，活學(xué)活用。
