Pavilion Features
The pavilion has a crimson central dome, symbolizing the theme "Unity in Persity" in India. A focus throughout the exhibit will be on interaction between rural and urban areas through exchange of goods and services.
展館有一個赤紅色的中央穹頂，象征著在印度，“萬象和諧”的主題。整個展覽的重心放在了體現(xiàn)城市和農(nóng)村之間通過商品和服務的交換實現(xiàn)交流互通。
Revolving around a journey of Indian cities from ancient times through medieval periods to modern India, the pavilion showcases India's rich cultural heritage, its persity of faith, culture and language, traditional and modern technological development and urban-rural interface.
參觀者可通過影像“時空隧道”游覽四五千年前的古印度、中世紀印度和現(xiàn)代印度，感受印度豐富的傳統(tǒng)文化、多樣化的宗教信仰、傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代科技的發(fā)展、城市和農(nóng)村的融合。
Highlight 1: Tree of Life
The entrance to the pavilion is through a vaulted portal with the "Tree of Life" carving inspired by the "Siddi Syed Mosque" at Ahmedabad. The central dome is herb-roofed with the "Tree of Life" in copper. The innovative combination of plants and metals distinguishes the dome.
受到位于艾哈邁達巴德的Siddi Syed寺的啟發(fā)，印度館入口處設立了一個刻有“生命之樹”字樣的拱形門。綠色的草皮覆蓋在中央穹頂上，與“Tree of Life”幾個銅字相映襯。植物與金屬的富有創(chuàng)意的結(jié)合讓印度館的穹頂顯得魅力非凡。
Highlight 2: Zero-chemical Area
The seemingly ancient India Pavilion is replete with marvelous modern technologies. The pavilion is designed as a Zero-chemical Area. Energy efficiency is made possible through the use of solar panels, wind mills, herbs and bamboo. The terracotta and stone floor is inspired by the palace at Rampur in Varanasi and is cooled by embedded pipes. Therefore, visitors will be touring around the pavilion in a cool and comfortable temperature even in the summer.
亮點2：零化學物質(zhì)區(qū)域
看似古老的印度展館內(nèi)應用了很多新奇的現(xiàn)代科技。這個展館被設計成了一個零化學物質(zhì)區(qū)域。展館通過使用太陽能電池，風車，草本植物和竹子，實現(xiàn)了節(jié)能環(huán)保。展館的陶瓦和地磚借鑒了瓦臘納西的一座宮殿的設計風格，通過內(nèi)置的水管來冷卻。因此，即使在夏天，游客也能在一個舒適的溫度下在展館內(nèi)游覽。
Highlight 3: Indian Market
The "Indian Market" will be open for curious visitors. In fact, the attic in this market belongs to one of the exhibition areas of the India Pavilion, from which one can get a bird's-eye view of the whole pavilion. The market is also a catering service area. Traditional delicacies from various regions of India can be relished here.
亮點3：“印度集市”
“印度集市”會對那些好奇的游客開放。實際上，這個集市的閣樓是屬于印度展館的一個展區(qū)的，在那里，游客可以鳥瞰整個印度展館。這個集市也是一個商業(yè)餐飲服務區(qū)。在這兒可以品嘗到印度各地的傳統(tǒng)佳肴。
Highlight 4: 360-degree Holographic Projection
The 360-degree Holographic Projection depicts India's evolvement over its long history, from the ancient times of Mohan Jodaro and Harappa (dating back to 2000-3000 BC) through the medieval period to modern India. The displays around the dome will further elaborate on the theme "Cities of Harmony."
亮點4：360度全息投影視聽裝置
穹頂?shù)闹醒雲(yún)^(qū)域采用360度全息投影視聽裝置，放映從古代，到中古時期，再到現(xiàn)代，印度的發(fā)展歷程。圍繞圓頂?shù)娘@示器將進一步闡述“和諧之城”這一主題。
