從前有個(gè)國(guó)王懸賞；看哪位畫家最能描繪"寧?kù)o"的意境。很多畫家都試過了。國(guó)王看了所有的作品，但他真正喜歡的只有兩幅。一幅畫中是一片寧?kù)o的湖泊，而湖泊就是一面完美的鏡子，倒映著四周環(huán)繞的群山。藍(lán)色的天空中白云飄飄。每個(gè)看到這幅畫的人都認(rèn)為這真是一幅表現(xiàn)寧?kù)o的完美作品。

There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there were only two he really liked， and he had to choose between them. One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for peaceful towering 1 mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy 2 white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.
