：

    prepare for exam準(zhǔn)備考試-Tiny ， what are you going to do tonight ？

    -I have to prepare for my coming exam.

    review / revise for exam為考試復(fù)習(xí)-What's your plan for this weekend？

    -I will spend the weekend reviewing for my exam.

    cram / swot for exam臨陣磨槍應(yīng)付考試-Shall we go for a walk ？

    -Sorry， I have to cram for my chemistry exam tomorrow.

    worry about the exam擔(dān)心考試-Don't worry about the exam. Just do your
best. -It is easier said than done. （說起來容易做起來難。）

    enter for exam報名參加考試-How many students have been entered for

    之前提到了臨陣磨槍應(yīng)付考試，這里再補(bǔ)充一個短語：burn the midnight
oil.如果在午夜時分燃燒燈油，那也就意味著熬夜苦讀了。所以它的意思就是挑
燈夜讀，也就是我們平時所說的開夜車。

    例如：I have a big test tomorrow morning， so I plan to burn the midnight
oil tonight.因?yàn)槊魈煳矣幸粋�重要的考試，所以我計(jì)劃開夜車了。
