　　Do “Lucky Numbers” Really Bring Good Luck?

　　There is no denying the fact that it is a hotly debated topic today whether the lucky numbers bring good luck. To this issue people’s attitudes differ sharply. Some people hold the positive view. They argue that some number such as six or eight can bring good luck. Because six means to do work easily and eight means to become rich. When we select the telephone number or the number of our cars we would like to choose this number in order to bring good luck.

　　Other people hold the negative view. They claim that the good luck doesn’t have a connection with the lucky number. And I agree with this outlook. We often say the opportunity is provided to the prepared person. The accomplishment is the result of our endeavors. When we work hard we can obtain the thing which we expect to have. Moreover, this has no relationship to the number. For example, we will have a conversation with the client tomorrow morning. Although tomorrow is Thursday, we will accomplish this task if the content is prepared carefully in today’s evening. In the contrary, tomorrow is Saturday we will fail if we don’t prepare the conversation. Apparently, the good luck and the lucky number have no relationship.
