12月3日，“新浪2019教育盛典”在北京諾金酒店盛大舉行。盛典現(xiàn)場，政府領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、知名高校校長、重點中學(xué)校長、國內(nèi)外教育行業(yè)領(lǐng)軍人物、主流媒體代表齊聚一堂，共同聚焦“教育的力量”。天津黑利伯瑞國際學(xué)校執(zhí)行校長Peter Rogerson先生、中方校長高虎先生、國際校長Yanni Galanis先生、招生辦主任王艷麗女士應(yīng)邀出席此次活動，熱烈祝賀我校執(zhí)行校長Peter Rogerson先生榮獲新浪網(wǎng)“2019國際教育行業(yè)年度貢獻人物獎”殊榮。

　　Peter Rogerson先生在墨爾本黑利伯瑞學(xué)校從教36年，該學(xué)校是一所非常有聲望的私立學(xué)校，也是澳大利亞規(guī)模最大的學(xué)校。2001年，他開始了他的國際教育生涯，擔任數(shù)學(xué)教師，與中國教師合作，為中國的學(xué)校提供澳大利亞VCE課程。2002年，中國開設(shè)了四個VCE項目，Peter先生被任職為助理校長，致力于宣傳黑利伯瑞。在接下來的十年里，他把該項目推廣到中國的9所學(xué)校，其中包括中澳第一所獨立院校——天津黑利伯瑞國際學(xué)校。

　　Peter先生還在菲律賓的馬尼拉和東帝汶首都帝力推廣VCE項目。他的工作要求使他已經(jīng)獲得澳大利亞維多利亞州政府的許可，并與中國學(xué)校密切合作來協(xié)助招生并確保VCE項目達到高水平。

　　多年來有近萬名學(xué)生從該項目畢業(yè)，并獲得認證，可直接申請澳大利亞大學(xué)。事實上，現(xiàn)在就有90%多的畢業(yè)生在澳大利亞學(xué)習(xí)，并且其中一半以上的學(xué)生都在全球排名前一百的學(xué)校里學(xué)習(xí)，相當比例的畢業(yè)生會在全球排名前3%的學(xué)校深造。2019年的1月，Perter先生被任命為天津黑利伯瑞國際學(xué)校執(zhí)行校長，直到2021年。Peter先生將見證這所學(xué)校從快速發(fā)展階段步入全面完善階段。

　　在接受這個獎項時，Peter先生對近二十年的國際教育得到了認可而激動不已，并對墨爾本黑利伯瑞學(xué)校在中國探索跨國課程教學(xué)方面的遠見卓識致以敬意，也非常感謝每一位在中國各地包括目前任職天津校區(qū)，為項目成功設(shè)立而奉獻的同事們。

　　Mr Peter Rogerson is a career teacher in his 36th year withHaileybury College, Melbourne – a very prestigious private school andAustralia's largest school. In 2001 he began his international educationcareer as amathematics mentor working with teachers in China todeliver the Australian VCE curriculum to schools in China. In 2002 there were four programs in Chinaand Peter was appointed Assistant Principal to further Haileybury’sinterests. In the next decade he grew the program to nine schools in China, including the first Sino-Australian Campus, at Haileybury International School, Tianjin.

　　Peter also developed programs in Manila, Philippines and Dili, Tmor Leste. His work required him to secure licencing and permissions from the Victorian Provincial Government in Australia, and working closely with the schools in China to assist in recruitment and assure the program was being delivered to a high level.

　　The graduates from the program number in their thousands over the years and receive certification toallow them direct application into Australian Universities. Indeed nowmore than 90% of graduates are studying in Australia, and more than half atfamous “Top 100” world-ranked universities, and most graduates go>

　　In accepting this award Peter was thrilled that nearly two decades of international education had been acknowledged, and paid tribute to Haileybury Melbourne fortheir vision is exploring transnational curriculum delivery in China, and the teamwork from many colleagues who have contributed to the success of the programs around China, including the Tianjin Campus that he now oversees.

　　此次榮獲“2019國際教育行業(yè)年度貢獻人物獎”，不僅僅是對我校執(zhí)行校長PeterRogerson先生從教數(shù)十年的肯定和激勵，也是對我校VCE成績的認可，更是對我校多年教學(xué)成果的贊同。
