Douglas Querl
Early in 1990s, Douglas Querl fly from America to Japan to study Japanese Language and Culture in Kashiwa and Economics & Politics in Tokyo. From 2007 to 2014, he obtained his BA in Art History in University of Washington and MA in Teaching in University of South California. Douglas Querl has been working in China for almost six years, from Singapore International School in Suzhou to SongChingLing Primary school in Shanghai, he was able to be fully imerged in the IB curriculum and learned that methodology and differentiated class instruction for varied types and levels of learners,successfully maintained and developed curriculum and school’s educational goals while providing a fun, energetic, professional spirit. Besides teaching, Douglas Querl is also a chef and an artist in porttery for over three years.
早在上世紀(jì)90年代,Douglas Querl 從美國(guó)赴日本柏市和東京學(xué)習(xí)日語(yǔ)文化以及政治經(jīng)濟(jì),2007至2014年他先后在美國(guó)華盛頓大學(xué)和南加州大學(xué)取得藝術(shù)史學(xué)士學(xué)位和教育碩士學(xué)位。Douglas Querl 已經(jīng)有六年在中國(guó)的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)了,從蘇州的新加坡國(guó)際學(xué)校再到上海宋慶齡小學(xué),他能夠完全浸入IB課程中并學(xué)習(xí)該方法論并針對(duì)不同類型和水平的學(xué)習(xí)者提供差異化的課堂教學(xué),成功維護(hù)和發(fā)展課程和學(xué)校的教育目標(biāo),同時(shí)提供有趣,充滿活力的專業(yè)精神。除了教學(xué),他還是一個(gè)廚師和三年以上經(jīng)驗(yàn)的陶器藝術(shù)家。

Jay Douglas
In 1984, Jay Douglas earned a bachelor's degree in European history from Walla Walla College in Washington, DC, and later studied Russian and Russian literature at the University of Washington and Southern Maine. In 2005, he obtained his master's degree in history at Colorado University in Colorado. Seven years later he completed Ph.D. in modern American history, Soviet history and American religion at the University of Rochester, New York. Jay Douglas began his professional career in 1987. He devoted 80% of his work to academic education. From 2012 to 2016, he was at Wuxi Guanghua Private School and Kunshan International School, respectively engaged in high school social studies, and from 2016 to 2019 he has served as Chairman of the Faculty Liaison Committee at the Beijing Beanstalk International Bilingual School. In addition, he is a member of the American Historical Association,National Council of the Social Studies,Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies and Cold War International History Project.

Mandy Hollingshead
From 2001 to 2006, Mandy Hollingshead obtained double bachelor's degree in music and education in McGill university in Montreal, Canada. From 2011 to 2013, she studied a online music education course of Boston university and successfully obtained a master's degree in music education . In her career as an international educator, Mandy Hollingshead has taught students from 18 months to 18 year-old in Canada, Hong Kong and Qatar. She is not only an educator but also a tech geek, keen to incorporate technology into her curriculum and always looking for ways and teaching strategies to improve. She is a certified Google innovator, Google education trainer and Apple outstanding educator. She often shares her learning journey with her students in class, allowing them to develop a sense of lifelong learning and character.

EdRienna Thomas
In 2011, EdRienna Thomas earned a bachelor's degree in international studies in Randolph-Miken College in Ashland, Virginia, and a master's degree in human services consulting from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in 2016. She also holds a middle school history teacher qualification certificate. EdRienna Thomas has been working for eight years. She came to Beijing in 2014 for the first time and taught at Dongzhimen Ivy Academy Pre-school. At work, she is a very serious and responsible teacher. She has been responsible for the implementation of the HOK’s child-driven project-based curriculum in-class, Observed the individual needs of each child, engaged children in activities required to aid them in personal and positive development. Supervised, instructed, motivated, and evaluated teaching team through regular feedback, classroom team meetings, and positive respectful communication. In addition,she also pay attention to fostering good relationships with parents, and regularly informing them about their progress.

Mark Charles is an educator from Texas, USA.
