秋天讓新府學(xué)的校園有了韻味，顏色分明，在秋日的暖陽中，讓我們一起走進(jìn)新府學(xué)外國語學(xué)校的11月。

　　第十一屆校園賽圓滿結(jié)束，95%學(xué)生晉級城市半決賽

　　什么是Good Talk國際青少年雙語演講大會(原“地球村”國際青少年雙語演講大賽)?這是一個(gè)面向全世界青少年共同參與的一個(gè)賽事，在這個(gè)賽事上，各國青少年用非母語的英文或中文進(jìn)行交流與比拼，大賽以雙語言為媒介、以演講為形式。

　　大會分為中國精英雙語演講大會、海外雙向雙語交流大會、世界名校校園巡回演講三大板塊，秉承“中國學(xué)生‘世界化’、世界學(xué)生‘中國話’”的宗旨。在每屆大會中，擬定同一個(gè)主題，中國學(xué)生以英文演講，國際學(xué)生以中文演講。大會開始于2009年，一年一屆的活動在中國、新加坡、澳大利亞、美國、丹麥等世界多個(gè)國家舉辦。旨在通過不同國家的青少年使用第二語言演講交流，推進(jìn)中英雙語在全世界的普及、加深各國青少年對彼此文化的認(rèn)知與理解，以及選拔具有國際影響力的青少年外交人才。

　　今年，新府學(xué)初小部是第二屆參加此項(xiàng)賽事，在校園初賽中，新府學(xué)的孩子們以出色的英文表達(dá)能力、良好的表現(xiàn)力、頗具特點(diǎn)和風(fēng)采的演講內(nèi)容等，95%報(bào)名了此項(xiàng)比賽的孩子通過校園初賽，順利晉級城市半決賽。通過比賽和交流，提升了孩子們的學(xué)習(xí)熱情和社交能力，也激發(fā)了孩子們更加關(guān)注中國文化。

　　在12月份，Good Talk將迎來城市半決賽，新府學(xué)的孩子們將挑戰(zhàn)新的話題，在更大的舞臺上自信的表達(dá)自己，向世界傳播中國文化。當(dāng)孩子們自信的站在舞臺上時(shí)，結(jié)果已經(jīng)不是最重要的了，因?yàn)樗麄円呀?jīng)戰(zhàn)勝自己，那么，他們就具備了面向世界和未來的勇氣。

　　多元期中測評，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生全面發(fā)展

　　11月周，新府學(xué)初小部的孩子們進(jìn)入了期中測評周，對孩子一個(gè)階段的學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)行全面評估。期中測評小學(xué)涉及的學(xué)科包括中文、英文、中文數(shù)學(xué)、英文數(shù)學(xué)、IPC、舞蹈、音樂、美術(shù)、體育;初中涉及的學(xué)科包括中文、英文、中文數(shù)學(xué)、英文數(shù)學(xué)、自然科學(xué)(物理、化學(xué)、生物)、人文與社會、藝術(shù)、體育等。

　　期中測評不僅包含筆試，還包含持續(xù)一段時(shí)間內(nèi)孩子們的綜合成績，在外教教授的部分學(xué)科里，還包含學(xué)生面試。藝術(shù)、體育學(xué)科組方面，測評更是涉及到孩子們對基礎(chǔ)知識或技能的掌握、學(xué)科運(yùn)用能力、表現(xiàn)能力以及平時(shí)學(xué)校藝術(shù)體育活動方面的參與度。

　　每位學(xué)生家長將在期中測評之后收到一份全面的評價(jià)報(bào)告，里面不僅包含孩子的測評成績，還包含每一位任課老師對學(xué)生的綜合性評價(jià)。這樣更利于每一位家長了解孩子的情況，也讓每一位孩子更了解自己的進(jìn)步，我們鼓勵(lì)每一位新府學(xué)學(xué)生不僅僅關(guān)注在某一方面取得的成績，而是積極學(xué)習(xí)和參與到各個(gè)學(xué)科組及活動當(dāng)中，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生全面發(fā)展。

　　新府學(xué)學(xué)生在國際數(shù)學(xué)競賽

　　AMC中喜獲佳績

　　全球超大規(guī)模的校際數(shù)學(xué)競賽——澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)競賽(AMC)的競賽成績于上周在官方微信和網(wǎng)站發(fā)布，新府學(xué)學(xué)生最終超90%的學(xué)生斬獲獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，其中一、二、三等獎(jiǎng)獲獎(jiǎng)比例均高于此項(xiàng)賽事的平均獲獎(jiǎng)率。

　　澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)競賽(AMC)是全球超大規(guī)模、歷史悠久的校際數(shù)學(xué)競賽，這項(xiàng)比賽有41年歷史，總計(jì)32個(gè)國家1450萬名學(xué)生參與，由國際權(quán)威學(xué)術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)澳大利亞數(shù)學(xué)聯(lián)合會(AMT)舉辦。新穎的題型和多語言試題讓全球的數(shù)學(xué)愛好者們得以在數(shù)學(xué)領(lǐng)域深刻切磋，共同學(xué)習(xí)，并深刻認(rèn)識數(shù)學(xué)在實(shí)際生活應(yīng)用中的重要性。

　　參加國際數(shù)學(xué)競賽是新府學(xué)“數(shù)學(xué)+”教學(xué)體系中重要的組成部分，從三年級開始，新府學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)開始進(jìn)行分層教學(xué)，根據(jù)孩子的具體學(xué)習(xí)情況，進(jìn)行因材施教。通過數(shù)學(xué)課程的分層設(shè)置，思維訓(xùn)練，從而培養(yǎng)學(xué)生理解數(shù)學(xué)知識、分析問題邏輯、從而解決數(shù)學(xué)難題的能力，真正提升學(xué)生的數(shù)學(xué)邏輯思維能力。數(shù)學(xué)是基礎(chǔ)學(xué)科，也是最重要的學(xué)科之一，未來也將成為中國學(xué)生申請國外大學(xué)的優(yōu)勢學(xué)科之一，通過數(shù)學(xué)建立良好的邏輯思維能力及分析問題解決問題的能力，幫助學(xué)生延伸到其他自然科學(xué)科目，并拓展其他領(lǐng)域的發(fā)展。

　　多維度家長會，家校共育助成長

　　本周五，新府學(xué)初小部將召開各個(gè)班級的集體家長會。接下來的兩周時(shí)間內(nèi)，家長可以與中外教班主任及各學(xué)科課任老師，約一對一家長會，進(jìn)行更深入的溝通。

　　新府學(xué)在每個(gè)學(xué)期期中、期末都會開展多種形式的家長會，根據(jù)學(xué)生成長的不同階段，從不同維度加強(qiáng)家長聯(lián)合及溝通。我們始終相信，家校共育是的教育方式。學(xué)校與家庭是相互配合的統(tǒng)一體，只有當(dāng)家校的教育理念、教育行為、教育態(tài)度達(dá)到高度一致時(shí)，孩子才能夠在一個(gè)安全且健康自由的空間里成長，才能夠形成正確的人生觀和價(jià)值觀。

　　11月末，學(xué)校還將為家長們提供走進(jìn)校園的機(jī)會，家長們可以走進(jìn)孩子們的課堂，和孩子們一起上課，分享孩子們在學(xué)校成長的點(diǎn)點(diǎn)滴滴，分享孩子們在學(xué)校的故事。

　　孩子們成長的每個(gè)階段都獨(dú)具他們的年齡特點(diǎn)，他們的性格及行為習(xí)慣形成也與家庭教育有著密切的關(guān)系。當(dāng)孩子們走進(jìn)學(xué)校時(shí)，他們需要的是老師與家長高度配合，共同參與他們的成長，兩者缺一不可。我們期望每一個(gè)孩子身心健康的成長，當(dāng)他們逐漸成人時(shí)，他們可以更加自信勇敢的面對自己、面對未來和這個(gè)世界。

　　The Xin Fuxue GoodTalk Campus Competition promoted 95% of its Contestants to the national Semi-finals

　　What is the GoodTalk (Global Village) Youth Bilingual Speech Conference? It is a competition that attracts the participation of young students from across the world. These students communicate and compete using their non-native language. In all, the conference takes the form of a bilingual speech contest.

　　GoodTalk consists of three speech competitions, namely the GoodTalk Speech National Finals (China), the GoodTalk Global Village Children & Youth Bilingual Speech Convention in Singapore and School Campus Speech Tour in the world. The mission is to “allow Chinese students to go international and teach international students Chinese”. Each year, Chinese students give Chinese Language speeches and international students gave English speeches under a designated topic. Starting from 2009, this annual event has been held in China, Singapore, Australia, America, Denmark, and other countries. Through speeches and communication in a second language, GoodTalk aims to promote English and Chinese languages around the globe and deepen the young generation’s understanding and knowledge of different cultures and cultivate young diplomatic talents that have international influence.

　　This is the second year that XFA elementary and middle school have participated in the GoodTalk competition. In the school-based competition, our students presented enlightening speeches, showcasing their fluent English and expression abilities. 95% of the participants were successfully promoted to the national semi-finals. This competition and communication inspired students’ passion for learning, improved their social ability and aroused their interest in Chinese culture.

　　The GoodTalk national semi-finals are to be held in December when our students will be faced with more challenging topics, express themselves on a bigger stage with greater confidence and spread Chinese culture to the world. When they stand on stage with confidence, the result becomes the least important issue. What’s important is that they dare to take challenges in the future.

　　Diversified mid-term assessments promoted all-round development of students

　　XFA elementary and middle school students took the mid-term examinations during the first week of November. The subjects accessed in elementary school include Chinese language, English language, Chinese Mathematics, English Mathematics, dance, music, arts, and sports. The subjects accessed in middle school include Chinese language, English language, Chinese Mathematics, English Mathematics, natural sciences (physics, chemistry, biology), humanities and society, art, sports, etc.

　　The mid-term examinations include not only written tests but also the comprehensive scores for the first quarter of the year. In some disciplines taught by foreign teachers, interviews are also included. In art and sports, the assessment is related to the children's mastery of basic knowledge or skills, the ability to express themselves, and participation in school athletic competitions.

　　Each student's parents will receive a comprehensive evaluation report which includes not only assessment results, but also comments from every subject teacher. With this report, parents can better understand the learning of the child and the child can know more about their progress. We encourage every student to actively learn and participate in various subjects and activities, instead of a certain subject or aspect, to develop in an all-round way.

　　XFA students won the international mathematics competition AMC

　　The results of the Australian mathematics competition (AMC), the world's largest inter-school mathematics competition, were published on the official WeChat and website last week. More than 90% of XFA students won prizes, among which was first, second and third prizes were higher than the average winning rate of the competition.

　　The Australian mathematics competition (AMC) is one of the world's largest and oldest inter-school mathematics competitions. The 41-year old competition, with 14.5 million students from 32 countries, is organized by the AMT. The innovative questions and multi-language questions enable math lovers all over the world to learn from each other in the field of mathematics and have a deep understanding of the importance of mathematics in practical life.

　　To participate in the international mathematics competition is an important part of the "Mathematics Plus" teaching system of XFA. Starting from the third grade, XFA students begin to carry out differentiating teaching of mathematics, teaching students following their aptitude and their specific learning conditions. Through the differentiating setting of mathematics courses and thinking training, students can be trained to understand mathematics knowledge, analyze the logic of problems and solve mathematical problems, to truly improve their mathematical logical thinking ability. Mathematics is not only a basic subject but also one of the most important subjects. In the future, it will become one of the advantageous subjects for Chinese students to apply for top foreign universities. Through mathematics, they can build good logical thinking ability and problem-solving ability to help themselves in learning other science subjects and help with their development in other fields.

　　Parent-Teacher Meetings

　　This Friday, each class in elementary will hold a collective teacher parents meeting. Then, over the next two weeks, parents will have one-on-one teacher parents’ meetings with Chinese and foreign teachers and subject teachers.

　　Each quarter, the XFA staff will carry out a variety of forms of teacher parents’ meetings to strengthen the communication with parents according to the different stages of students' growth and from different dimensions. We always believe that home-school education is the best way of education. School and family are the unity of cooperation. Only when the educational concept, educational behavior and educational attitude of the school and families are highly consistent, can children grow up in a safe, healthy and free space and form a correct outlook on life and values.

　　At the end of November, the school will also provide an opportunity for parents to visit our campus. Parents will have a chance to sign up and come in to view their child’s class.

　　Every stage of a child contains it’s own age characteristics. The formation of their personality and behavior habits is closely related to family education. When children go to school, they need a high degree of cooperation between teachers and parents to cultivate their growth. We hope that every child will grow up healthily both physically and mentally. When they become adults, they can be more confident and braver to face themselves, the future and the world.
